Vladimir Milovidov
Head of the Federal Financial Markets Service
Vladimir Milovidov was born on 13 January 1960 in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow State University in 1984 with degree in economics. In 1987, he completed his graduate studies at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations attached to Academy of Sciences of the USSR with candidate degree in economics.
In 1987 Mr. Milovidov began his career working as junior and then as a senior researcher at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations.
In 1998, Mr. Milovidov was appointed consultant to the secretariat of Prime Minister E. Primakov.
In 1999, Mr. Milovidov was appointed councilor to the Vice-Prime V. Khristenko.
In 2000, he was Deputy Head of The Federal Commission for Securities Markets, and in July 2000 he became First Deputy Head of The Federal Commission for Securities Markets.
In 2003, Mr. Milovidov was chosen to head The Department of Financial Markets and Privity of the Government.
On April 2004, he was assistant of Prime Minister M. Fradkov.
On May 17 2007, Mr. Milovidov was appointed Head of the Federal Financial Markets Service (FFMS).
In 2006 Vladimir Milovidov was conferred the Honoured Economist of Russian Federation
